Lovran Days of Cherries - June 9 - June 17th

The caterers of Lovran (4 to 6 cafés and restaurants) offer cakes and dishes based on the well-known cherries of Lovran (of the Lambert type – known locally as the Brtošinka) during the Lovran Days of Cherries. At the end of the Days of Cherries a closing festival is held on the main square (Trg slobode) featuring the sale of cherries, cherry cakes, souvenirs and other indigenous products. The culmination of the festivity is the sampling of a grand strudel (10m long), followed by performances by local and visiting folklore ensembles.
